First Annual ChildFirst Golf Outing

The first annual ChildFirst Pennsylvania Charity Golf Outing will be held Friday, April 25th, 2014 with a 1pm shotgun start at Dauphin Highlands and Toftrees Golf Club. Dinner, prizes and silent auction will follow the outing at each location. Since ChildFirst Pennsylvania’s inception, ChildFirst PA has trained over 300 frontline child protection workers from 32 counties throughout the state. ChildFirst Pennsylvania is nationally recognized forensic interviewer and multi-disciplinary investigative team (MDIT) training. It is designed to strengthen the investigation and prosecution of child abuse while teaching how to place the Child first ahead of all else. The National ChildFirst program began over 12 years ago as the vision of Victor Vieth of the National Child Protection Training Center and CornerHouse . In 2012, ChildFirst Pennsylvania partnered with the Pennsylvania State Police, the largest state police force in the country.

The Pennsylvania ChildFirst Golf Outing is a wonderful opportunity to help assist in the continuation of providing this valuable training opportunity to many more frontline workers who directly work with abused and neglected children. However, we would be unable to make the vision of training every frontline worker in the state without generous donations from area and national organizations. We greatly appreciate your consideration in assisting us with our fundraising efforts. For your convenience, a list of all donation options and exposure has been included in the event brochure enclosed. If you are unable to participate as a donor or sponsor, we hope you will consider supporting as a golfer or attendee.

If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation, please contact us at 717-249-0900 or fill out the this form and mail it back to Attn: ChildFirst Golf, 2 West High Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. We will be happy to pick up any donations at your convenience.
